Themes to play
*Roll-everything '' - nothing is a flat 10 base - DCs for saves are rolled (that little snake might be DC 21 fort save instead of 11!), AC base, etc''
*Animals '' - everyone plays an enlightened animal with class levels''
*[Under]water '' - an oceanic if not underwater game''
*True20 '' - A d20 system with stripped-down base classes and every class ability is a feat/feat tree''
*Buy The Numbers '' - A d20 system where everything from hit dice and BAB to class abilities are purchased within a point-based system''
*Gestalt '' - D&D variant where every character gains 2 classes per level''
*Group Builds
**All-the-same-class '' - everyone has to play different builds of the same class, such as everyone picks a different god for their cleric or a different school to specialize in for wizard, or different feat trees for a fighter''
**No-martial '' - no one can play a +1/level BAB class''
**No-spellcasters '' - no one can have any spells''

Other systems?
*Ars Magica '' - A d10-centric troupe-based system (players create a group as a group, not individual characters -- of varying degrees of power to control multiple ones and tell a story with more actors)''
*Paranoia '' - humoorous, dark humorous, or just dark dystopian sci-fi''
*Unisystem '' - a d10-centric rules-medium system with a lot of customizability''
