Disposable gamedays are (usually) one-off gamedays that are used to explore new or alternate rules (and systems), weird ideas, or to let off gaming steam. They usually happen on weekends and generally not with great frequency.
Daryl and Randy have been craving a bit more gaming lately.  It's fun!
