• Parents (or Guardian) and parent’s occupations as well as additional family information:Gaylord,the flaming elf himself, owns a pub called The Flaming Elf, also the name of the pub's trademark drink. When asked what's in a Flaming Elf Gaylord's usual response is, "anyone who cares to be". Gaylord is a bard by nature and a businessman by necessity. Harper maybe? The pub is not a somber bar. It is not a gay bar either. It's like Mardi Gras only open from noon to 4am-ish. Gaylord was a much beloved NPC in my 2-year campaign. His pub was in a city called Widowhaven. Widowhaven is not in the Forgotten realms. Feel free to add Widowhaven to the Realms or move the pub to another city as you see fit. The city should be large.

• Major childhood influences, traumas, events, emotional wounds:Gaylord found Simon wandering the streets as a very young boy and took him in. Simon's parents were never found. He remembers them but believes their dead. He fully accepts Gaylord as his father,...er mother?...Parent.

• Primary relationships, marital status and capacity for intimacy: Simon is a horny bastard, however he is intelligent enough to know that sleeping with strange women could get him killed. Simon says in an outrageous french accent,"I'm going upstairs to jack off twice and take a nap."

• Education:Gaylord does not want Simon to blindly follow in his footsteps. Gaylord taught Simon the value of a strong education and encouraged him to seek his own path. He is well educated. Perhaps he has come to Lone Rock City to seek an apprenticeship.

• Food preferences: Simon appreciates fine food but does not go out of his way for it. For Simon eating is more about nourishinf himself than about enjoyment.

• 2 Enemies:Aside from being orphaned and raised by a flambouyantly gay elf, Simon's life until now has been relatively uneventful. To his knowledge he hasn't made any enemies. Simon's story begins now.

• 2 Friends: An old arabian Sorcerer who used to frequent The Flaming Elf became quite fond of Simon and piqued his cuiosity about the Art. His name was D'Jimm(pronounced Dazheem) and he hasn't been heard from in quite a long time. He used to talk about retiring to a volcanic island he once visited during his travels, maybe he did.(He did but Simon doesn't know that)

• Reactions under stress: I'm not sure yet I'll have to wait until the situation arises and see what feel right. I'm guessing he would fall back to investigator mode. Assess the situation figure out what exactly is happening. Information is comforting to Simon.

Simon is writing a book about Faerun,races,places,deities,professions,customs,commerce.

He's not looking to do an extremely thorough job (he's writing a book not an encyclopedia), but he wants to cover many subjects. I'm going to make a list of topics for Simon to cover and have him research and interview people to make progress on those topics. Simon will gather notes based on percentage of completion. Each interview allows a gather information check (see below for DC)to gain one percent of completion.

Research allows an intelligence check with the same results.
