Session starts with the party seeking sleeping quarters. Tirotin and Caitlyn seek out an inn, where Lesser will practice massage on Caitlyn. Inn is the Bubbling Font, with lots of holy water.

At the Cathedral

For the first time the door is locked, but our rooms are available. Caitlyn notices a man in a grey cloak outside the dorm. She tries to tell tirotin about it quietly, but he turns his head and gawks! Devlin Baine is his name. Asks us for drinks at the Bubbling Font. He casts a spel that Caitlyn does not recognize. Winnifred would know what the spell is.

Devlin agrees to have Neve meet us on Church ground the next day and he leaves. Caitlyn turns invisible and starts following him. He heads east through the city. There is cannon fire from the east. He stops at a cottage near Lorna. A group of Skorn come charging Caitlyn's direction and she takes off on the broom, only to discover that they weren't after her.

Delitirious

Delitirious is working on the heart. Wydechek is hanging out and hears a ruckus in the lab. Turns out that teh heart is fueling an ooze that is attacking Delitiriuos. Wydechek shoves a funnel into Del's mouth so that he can breathe.

Shows Wydechek his screaming ooze. It's screams progressively louder each time that it touches.

The next day

The party tries to find out why the church was locked and doesn't find out. The party then goes to find Wydechek in the sewers and discover teh ooze armor.

Armor shouldn't eat! --Caitlyn

A scroll was given by Devlin to give to Wydechek. It contains a note that says, "Honorable Wydechek, "Private" I knew that I would unable to make agreeable terms with Caitlyn, utilisze as you see fit. It will bring you to a location where Neve will be glad to answer questions. It will be perfectly safe. -- Devlin Baine". Scroll of some sort of conjuration (calling).

Ciatlyn goes to the church for advice and is told that it is okay. A messenger from Neve appears and it has an aura of weirdness. It teleports us to a dark room in teh city. He gained knowledge thru the Mercurian league. They wish to traffic in Infernal souls. Merc league bankrolls the war efforts. He can offer us a miniature victrolla. If we play it in front of her it will solve our problem. It only will work once and only in front of her. He knows where Roxanna Wooster is. She is in the University and held by the inquisition. She may be in Bayard Hall.

He gives us another scroll but warns us not to try and learn it. Scroll of DimDoor?

Jumped after the teleport

Levi was in the church with a ton of minions. It was Levi and a bunch of people were dead. Alistair was thought to be dead, but he just had lots of dex dmg. It seems that this attack was planned (even before the incident). Levi teleported to safety.

• 3X Inv, Ex retreat, Shield, Prot Evil, Arcane Lock, Bear's End, Feather Fall Token, Potion of Cure Mod (x2).

After the combat in the rectory there is a secret area with stairs going down into the 3rd basement. Dumas is unmoving but alive in the one foot of water. He ran when he was out of spells and was the last one.

Dropping the gem over the wall

Caitlyn turns inv and flies over the wall and sees military firing at the gate and teh elphant-things are defending. Drops the gem, it shatters and it starts smoking. Coming forth from the ground is an infernal octupus with a battering ram and it immediately attacks the gate. It successfully breaks the gate down. The corpse does not disappear.
