This is a list of permitted feats for campaigns run by Wizardoest. Sourcebooks other than those listed below will be considered.

House Rules Pertaining to Feats

  • Dual Skills: Gain +2 to two different skill checks. Come up with a catchy name for it, e.g. Saddle Caster: Born to ride, bred to cast. Gain +2 to Spellcraft and Ride.
  • A prerequisite of Combat Casting may be replaced by Skill Focus (Concentration).
  • A prerequisite of Toughness may be replaced by Improved Toughness.
  • Leadership requires permission.
  • Feats from 3.0 books may be considered if there is no 3.5 version. The feat may be altered slightly to fit with 3.5.

Cityscape

  • Urban Tracking needs to be altered, but a solution hasn't yet come to mind.

Banned: Extra Contacts, Primary Contact to be waived if contacts are used in a campaign. Favored, Special Dispensation, to be waived if they are necessary for the campaign.

Complete Adventurer

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Watchlist: Leap Attack

Complete Arcane

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified: Extra Spell (Spell must be on your the spell list for the class.)
Watchlist: Black Lore of Moil, Pierce Magical Concealment, Pierce Magical Protection
Banned: Craft Contingent Spell

Complete Champion

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified:

  • All Reserve Feats are Spell-like abilities.
  • Swift Wild Shape requires spending two wild shapes to execute as a swift action.

Watchlist: Battle Blessing, Holy Warrior, Imbued Healing
Banned: All Domain feats, Touch of Healing

Complete Divine

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Watchlist: Arcane Disciple
Banned: Faith point-based feats

Complete Mage

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified: All Reserve Feats are Spell-like abilities.

  • Clutch of Earth has a Will save
  • Dimension Jaunt requires line of sight and line of effect
  • Metamagic School Focus has a minimum spell level adjustment of +1
  • Storm Bolt has a Reflex save

Watched: Borne Aloft, Dimension Reach, Metamagic School Focus, Residual Magic
Banned: None

Complete Scoundrel

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified:

  • Psithief is not required for Spellthieves to steal power points, as long as the campaign is using the magic/psionic transparency rules.

Banned: All skill trick feats, to be waived if skill tricks are used in a campaign. Improved Skirmish

Complete Warrior

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Watchlist: Favored Power Attack, Freezing the Lifeblood, Greater Kiai Shout
Banned: None

Dungeonscape

All feats permitted.

Heroes of Battle

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Watchlist: Extra Followers, Improved Cohort
Banned: Courageous Rally, Inspirational Leadership, Natural Leader, Practiced Cohort, Veteran Knowledge (unless rally/morale/teamwork is used in a campaign.)

Heroes of Horror

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified:

  • Bane Magic, you may select alternate groupings of foe, e.g. all Nobles, Residents of the City of Bridges, the forces of Janus, etc. Each alternate grouping to be evaluated by campaign.

Watchlist: Bane Magic (human)
Banned: All taint feats, including Touch of Taint and Pure Soul, to be waived if taint is used in a campaign. Dreamtelling, Oneiromancy, Improved Oneiromancy.

Miniatures Handbook

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified:

  • All sudden metamagic feats are to be taken from Complete Arcane.

Banned: None

Players Handbook 2

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified:

  • Arcane Thesis, metamagic feats applied to the spell cannot be reduced to less than +1.
  • Elven Spell Lore, the racial requirement is waived. Consider it just Spell Lore.
  • Imbued Summoning, the spell that effects the summoned creatures effects all of the summoned creatures

Races of Destiny

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified:

  • Urban Tracking needs to be altered, but a solution hasn't yet come to mind.
  • All [Racial] requirements are waived.

Watchlist: All Initiate feats
Banned: All Illumian feats, to be waived if permitted in a campaign.

Races of the Dragon

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified: Accelerate Metamagic and Practical Metamagic have the dragonblood subtype requirement removed.
Watchlist: Spell Rehearsal
Banned: Versitile Spellcaster, Wyrmgrafter (unless grafts are used in the campaign)

Races of Stone

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified:

  • All [Racial] requirements are waived, unless they pertain to racial abilities or are listed differently below.
  • Clan Prestige may be adapted for organizations other than dwarf clans, e.g. Gain a +4 bonus when dealing with the Lone Rock City Watch or Members of the Harpell School of Wizardry.
  • Metamagic Song should function more like Divine Metamagic. Details to be ironed out when someone takes it.

Banned: All Goliath feats, to be waived if permitted in a campaign.

Races of the Wild

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified:

  • Dallah Thaun's Luck has the halfling requirement waived.
  • Lightfeet can have Survival 2 ranks or Druid 1/Ranger 1 to substitute for the elf prerequisite
  • Yondalla's Sense has the halfling prerequisite waived.

Banned: All Killoren feats, to be waived if permitted in a campaign.

Sandstorm

All feats permitted, except those listed below

Modified:

  • All feats based on a deity's blessing will have to be converted using campaign-specific deities.

Watchlist: Rattlesnake Strike, Sand Spinner
Banned: Touchstone, to be waived if they are in a campaign.

Legend

Modified: These feats have house-ruled changes to them or clarifications.
Watchlist: These feats aren't banned, but are considered potential cheese when mixed properly.
