Workin' the Mines

Einion: Every last one o' us, 'cept fer Kaia, has been caught and captured by the locals sheriffs and put to work in the mines as forced hard labor. I do what I do best, and I start makin' recommendations fer making the place run more smoothly. No one wants ta hear it though.

As we're a working, Lamar strikes a bad patch and the a portion of the mine collapses! I rush myself to the nearest big piece of equipment to dig folks out while the Captain n' Crow rush in ta help.

Shortly the local stormtroopers arrive, lead from the rear by Du Bujac, the thug who stole the mine from Marion. His stormtroopers help and he gives us his personal thanks. Being near him in such a catastrophe just reinforces that he isn't a nice man.

Gettin' Help from Grady

Einion: We win the gravitate of Grady, provided that we help him by getting his daughter back. His daughter is getting spying on Du Bujac. She also has a dumb name, 'Remember'. Despite that name, we learn that Du Bujac is looking to move a rather large shipment off world—TONIGHT—and we're reckoning that shipment is our payment.

Extraction

Einion: Because we need a small and fast vessel, Lamar volunteers his shuttle. He frets and whines and tells me not to touch anything, despite it being obvious that if only he rerouted the power around that node...

It was the automatic gunfire that got my attention. From my vantage point behind the bulkhead deep inside the cargo bay, I see the Captain, with harness, dive down to get the girl. As this happens Crow gets shot—badly. I rush to his aid, almost oblivious to the hail of bullets and give him medical treatment.

As soon as I stop the bleeding, the Captain is on the comm, yelling for us to get him and Remember outta there. I start operating the electric wench, by remote control.
