Funeral interrupted by protesters
Template:Wyl Haversham: We attended the funeral for those who were killed in the avalanche. It was a moving ceremony until Solstice showed up. She is the local anti Coalspire naturalist. I believe in everyone getting their voice, and I also believe there is an appropriate time and place for protesting stuff like the Coalspire. I don't even necessarily disagree with Solstice on all of her points...but coming to a funeral to protest like that was so far out of line. Stoat, Namèd, and I managed to resolve the situation without anyone going to the stocks, but it was a near thing.

Template:Wyl Haversham: Apparently, Beauregard and his shit kickers have been bad mouthing us again and we've been short on work. Advocate Antonova of the Blackgate Consortium, who looked quite formidable when she came into our headquarters, finally threw us a bone and hired us for some retrieval work and some subtle reconnaissance of the spire.

Template:Wyl Haversham: Stoat and I found Namèd being attacked by some steaming ghosts, and not the kind of steamy you hear the doctor's crush about! I thought I could be helpful with some ice...and it turned out I was partially right, but then I froze up myself. Literally...I froze myself. Stoat got me out, crashing thrugh the ice around me in a frenzy that severely damaged my arm. We'll see if we can save it...but for now I'm stable...ish.
