Dumas

We meet with Father Dumas and he thinks that giving her the Witchfire Blade is a bad idea. A long debate ensued why we should or shouldn't give Alexia the Witchfire Blade. We asked Dumas to cast Divination (-25 gp).

  • "Heed to the Prophecy" is the answer.

While talking there is horsehooves outside. Mounted skorn soldiers. Occasional very large beast things (killed a few outside the gate). There are approx 200 heavy cavalry and 100 infantry and they continue by. Looks like many, many more skorn.

Need to find the Legion of Lost Souls. It's blocked by powerful magic. There was a giant morrowian named Collosus whose hammer may be able to open the tomb. After being slain he was lain in rest to the Knights of the Prophet. There is an old map and appears that the tomb is near the waterfront part of town.

  • Filcher's Crossing: maze of flooded streets and the worst area of town. Den of the Griffins.
  • There is another tale of an old church swallowed by the earth, Prefix Sandar wrote of it. The Knights resting place disappeared and all buildings there disappeared into the earth.

During the night

The party goes to the room where a cannonball went through. During the night a stone head of Angelina was placed in bed with Caitlyn.

In the poor district

Caitlyn helps a child and Tirotin slaps the child. Caitlyn storm bolts Tirotin and trouble ensues as the Griffins emerge and attack. Tirotin gets poisoned while invisible. Caitlyn casts a quickened Stick and uses Slide to make Tirotin's body jump in the air onto her broom.

There is a snitch being dragged off by the Griffins. We save him only to have him scared that we will kill him. We drag him off to our hiding place and question him. He knows nothing.

Visit the Gertens for help

Dook is guarding the gate. Caitlyn tells him how to abort his half-gobber fetus. We try to meet with Mateo.
