It turns out, though, that before we can go to the actual destination of the hole, we have to go through a mini-trial of sorts. This was led by a most gnarly yet irritating Ren Tidebringer, supposedly manifestation of Anhur. (Robhim, upon deep thinking later, finds the likelihood of that actual connection to be tenuous at best. It's probably from some goodly god of playfulness or trickery.

The Ren-Manifestation states that in order to be champions of good, the party needs to act like it -- and he explains that we will be shown three situations in which we have failed at that, so that we may concentrate upon fixing the flaws.

The three situations are: -Us letting Abendago go after his cold-blooded murdering of a surrendered but very evil enemy. -That we realized that the drow in the forest when we were chasing leads for Alyssa Dac'Angelo were greatly overpowering us, and thus we called in for reinforcements, rather than rushing forth to our senseless deaths. -Robhim supposedly coveting Glory from Blue and ignoring and thinking ill of him.
