Dr Fergessen was behind the bird attacks in the Pigeon-Holed storyline.

• His summoning was interrupted and the backlash killed him.

Brick: Hey, yo! The Doc gave a lecture about birds. I gotta admit, he was a little boring. When we saw him again, he was summoning some huge bird behind the screen at the theater. We interrupted him & his spell went crazy & I think it killed him.
