Milady Rosalie de Moreau Refresh 3
Aspects
- High Concept: Grand Dame Puppetmaster of the RPM
- Invoke: When I have to socially manipulate people or get things done within the RPM.
- Compel: I can often get tied-up in all of the strings that I have strung.
- Trouble: Lost my son in the revolution
- Invoke: Can better emphasize with those that have lost someone and are going through grief.
- Compel: This can distract her from current goals and also make her reluctant to strike at families.
- Aspect: Inglorious Bitch
- Invoke: The pride now has her on a long leash, and she can now act with more impunity. Rumor is that she is now more like the Rosey of yore, and that's a scary thing.
- Compel: Her trust is shattered, and she is doubtful of most people's motives.
- Aspect: Venerable Socialite
- Invoke: She gets benefits when mingling with high society.
- Compel: When in civil company, she must do what she can to keep up appearances.
- Aspect: Child of the Jackal
- Invoke: Her magic is lost and unique, which makes it unpredictable and hard to counteract.
- Compel: The power of the zodiac is beyond the control of mortals, and can do wild and uncontrollable things.
Game Aspect: Is this the end of the Revolution?
Game Aspect: Zusdarad the Bullfire is coming to destroy Lisway
Skills
- +4 Contacts
- +3 Provoke; Empathy
- +2 Deceive; Fight; Rapport; Resources; Will
- +1 Athletics; Shoot; Physique; Lore (Mythology); Lore (Arts & Sciences)
Stunts and Extras
- Lie Whisperer
- +2 to all Empathy rolls made to discern or discover lies, whether they’re directed at you or someone else.
- Shadow in the Crowd
- You may use Contacts as opposed to Stealth when attempting to hide in social situations / large crowds due to knowing how to go unseen in group situations and crowds.
- Power: Harm
- You have a deadly touch. You don’t have to hit people to hurt them; just brushing up against them can be fatal. For role-playing's sake, this is a VERY similar effect that the Sorcerier use. Also, folk from the Palimar region are generally immune or resistant to this effect for unknown reasons.
- Drawback: You Can’t Turn It Off - Despite your best attempts to keep it in check, your power is always active in small ways: pencils rot in your hand, and food spoils when you touch it.
- Collateral Damage: Mass Drain - You can emanate a wave of harm from your body that affects everyone in your zone. It kills nameless NPCs, while named NPCs and PCs must successfully defend with Physique against Fair (+2) opposition to avoid taking a moderate physical consequence.
- Power: Natural Weapon
- You have some sort of built-in weaponry, whether it be claws or crackling energy that surrounds your fists. You gain +2 to Fight while brawling unarmed in close quarters. For role-playing's sake, this is a crackling purple energy field around her arms that does poison damage.
- Drawback: A Danger to Anyone Nearby - Your weapon isn’t as simple as jutting bone spurs; your fists generate a strange energy that you can’t entirely shut off. It makes you dangerous to foes, but you’re also A Danger to Anyone Nearby. For role-playing's sake, Also, folk from the Palimar region are generally immune or resistant to this effect for unknown reasons.
- Collateral Damage: Berserk - If you fall into an incomprehensible rage, you become an especially deadly combatant, gaining Armor:2 and +1 to all attacks. Because you are in a berserk rage, though, you can’t stop yourself from causing collateral damage. This rage lasts until the end of the scene or you choose to end it.
- Wealth and Resources: Familiar Face:
- You are known within your social circles. Once per session, upon meeting an NPC in your social circle, you may mark off a Wealth and Favor box to declare that you have met them before and create an aspect with one free invoke to represent your prior relationship.
