- Dwarves were the primary masons and rebuilders.
- Gnomes were used as slave labor.
- And food...
- This was the prime stage of transitioning your station in life.
- This is where 6 great noble houses were born, including The Emperor and The Archmage.
- Halflings chose not to help rebuild and made caravan cities and houseboats.
Secrets
- The reason the dwarves are so successful today is that they found old technology and they haven't shared it.
Fall of the Elves
Common Knowledge and Rumors
- Dark elves had a surface war that tainted the image of all elves due to inaction.
- The dark elves were waging a war on the dragons and winning until the "good elves" stepped in to protect the dragons.
Secrets
- Dwarves stoked the rumor-mongering about the elves (and dark elves specifically) because the dark elves were close to finding some of the lost technology.
Gaea's Blessing
Common Knowledge and Rumors
- Animals around the world gained a soft halo, the rampaging dragons disappeared, and the halos around the animals dissipated shortly afterward.
- This is when the first order of the druids was created.
- Only females can be true druids.
- The Druidic tradition became popular and giant sanctuaries were created between cities.
- Clashes happen between the Druidic tribes and humanoids in the cities as each saw the other's land as stolen.
Age of the Totems
Common Knowledge and Rumors
- People begin to align themselves to animals.
- Some people can be shunned by their totem animals. If they are, they are removed from society.
- The Emperor's family gains the totem of the alpaca.
- Rarely, some animals become sentient and can speak.
- All orcs do not have totems. Their natural bestial nature makes them a totem unto themselves and the animals respect that.
Exploration of the Skies

- Air transportation becomes prominent by the initiative of the dwarves.
- "Floaties" become a common wearable item that lets you glide across leylines.
- There is a discovery of floating islands above the land that were hidden for an unknown period of time.
- Daredevil sky-stunts become a popular sport and occupation.
Secrets
- There are gnome colonies on these "skylands."
- The skylands are actually the remains of the dragons that were exiled by the animals.
Rise of the Acolytes

- Some have decided to stretch magic to its limits to try and force the gods into existance.
- Wizards become distrusted because people feel that the attempt to bring in the gods is causing the undead plague to rise.
- Schools of magic become closed to outsiders and require special permissions to prevent terrorism.

- An order of dark druids arise to disrupt the normal Druidic order.

Common Knowledge and Rumors
- The country of Arvis won a long war against the country of Durell, making Arvis the rulers of the Western Coast.
- Large amounts of undead in cities are spontaneously rising from the graves.
- Rarely, the dead come back intelligent (not evil intelligent, just themselves).
- Troubles with crops are happening due random sudden freezes, causing food shortages.
- Contact between colonies trying to settle on the skylands have been cut off by the notorious sky pirate known as the Thunder Chief.
- The 2nd in the line to the throne of Arvis has mysteriously disappeared.
- Scholars and astronomers have noticed that stars are beginning to disappear from the sky.
- There has been a recent surge of those born with wild magic and those with the talent for wild magic are being born with animistic traits.
