Rotating Corridors

💳 Ciarán: John Jones is accosted by Franko Yegorovna and can't join us right now.

🗽 Quinn We get down into the asteroid and find out that the rooms ahead of us were designed by someone who saw the art of Salvador Dali and thought 'Oh, I can do much worse'.

The first room had an airlock, guards in hazmat gear, and an area of chadioactive gases. We were able to bluff our way through there as some weird rupture in the venting happened and we were able to pose as a repair crew.

💳 Ciarán: The guards who were inchadiated and sent on break break out into a fight in the elevator on their way out.

🧟‍♂️ Louis: Everyone who think's they're smart thinks puzzle box security is worthwhile. They're wrong, of course. So we have to navigate this maze. And the first step is a bunch of dopes that we talk our way past. This

Research and Development

🗽 Quinn After making our way out of the ventilation area, things got a bit hairier, we hit a room with scientists that were very skeptical. They didn't buy our ruse, so I had to knock out the main pain in the six with a well-placed red swingline stapler (I totally should have kept it).

The next room got...weird. The guards were alerted that someone had gotten in, so I go ghost as we enter this room. There are a bunch of guards in elevated positions watching over an area that some scientists were moving through. We tried to bluff the scientists, but they got hoity toity, and then the ventilation system went screwy and dosed them. If you haven't ever seen a bunch of people flesh-meld into some composite being...I do not recommend it. It was a roiling mass of flesh and anger. The guards got distracted trying to take it out, it was almost too easy to remove them from the equation (Moonbase Marine, Ooo-Rah!). I tried distracting the beastie, but it apparently ate our zombie scientist...which allowed Louis to take control of it...

I dunno, I'm specialized as a life and property reappropriations specialist, and this is all starting to sound like we need a stoned philosophy major to figure out what is happening.

💳 Ciarán: I guess Louis is part of a amalgamation/blob now.

🧟‍♂️ Louis: Dose some brain-dead mooks with cthonic radiation and what do you get? In this case, you get a roiling blob of angry, brain-deader mooks in one pile of melting flesh. They haven't been enjoying their corruption for very long though, not like I have. They've not looked into the depths of the dark seas that lap up against the shores of reality and slowly erode everything we hold dear. I'm practically a surfer, compared to them. No, surfer is a terrible metaphor- I'm a saturation diver, willing and able to go into those depths until even the atmosphere around me is poison. I dive right in.

The down side, of course, is that it's going to be difficult to shake this. I'm going to be stuck being part of this horror amalgamation for some time. I hope that doesn't become an issue…
