Charles wishes to see this soldier of his dead and buried. As such he throws him into frays hoping that a lucky blow will end his existence.
Charles' wish nearly came true, as the party was able to inflict great pain upon this devil before the end of fighting.
A giant coin, tied to Gyrix's spirit was granted to 
TskTsk to use as he like, preferably in a battle that Gyrix won't survive.
