Lost in the dark

After the ship short its self out and through the ship out of control to some random location. New protocol will be followed after pirating a craft for searching for :booby traps, self destruct, transmitters and system locks after recovery of enemy ships. All systems went of line with near critical damage. This accrued because of a trap with in the navigational com that went off because the unknown location was not of a known to its security protocols. The ship was split up of engineers and assistants for repair of the ship. The second group was made up of security who sweep the ship for location tracking devices. Main power, short range sensors, long range, engines, lazars and finally internal sensors. The security team did find a tracking device and retrieved it to the engineers who disabled it. When short range sensors a small object was detected. The system that we was trapped in had a white dwarf star. Other than that small light source the system was near dead. When engines came online the ship headed for the small object that was drifting in space that was not a planet or moon or an asteroid. Weapons was online by the time we arrived at the small object. Upon visual the object was a class large exploration ship. The ship resembled a fish. The scans of this unknown style ship showed no life and no power. A team was assembled to explore the target, bob was taken to restore power for salvage.

Upon entering the alien ship a sweep to the right making a circle to the final chamber. Air lock, bridge and finally the team was faced with the sleeping chamber. Opening the doors for the final room with a gun man on one door and the rest of the party at the other. The room at first glance was fitted with a bed and a skeleton. As I lead the party into the room the skeleton sat up and drew a gun onto me. Seeing that this was intelligent actions and not the actions of an animated undead. I through my hands up being there was not atmosphere to communication to surrender. Being that I did not want me or my team being shot with a gun and rupturing our space suits. Security pulled us out and I gave the order to regroup in the engine room to bring air back into the ship. The doors was shut also to prove that if the skeleton could open a door and not be trapped unlike a mindless creature, then we could reason with him about our trespassing on his ship. So he came out of the room and pointed the gun at us and then motioned at us to step away form the computer terminal. We did as he motioned to move away from the computer and then he moved to the seat and started working on it. Few seconds he motioned at us to take off out helmets. When we took off the environmental helmets the air had returned to the ship. At that point we held parley with the skeleton

When communications started with our host. He told us his name lord Theodore Abercrombie Fitch the 6th prince of the Eleti. Lord Theodore explores space for enjoyment and research. Until his ship became stuck in this almost lightless system that could not muster up enough light to propel his huge personal exploration craft. Being that his systems are designed to sail off the solar radiation that flows from a sun through space. Since this system only had a white dwarf the ship was stuck with just enough radiation to not go sliding into the sun but not enough to be able to escape this system. So when all ideas of escape was tried Thomas then put him self into a deep slumber which lasted until we entered his bed chamber. The time that had passed was 100 years for his long sleep. When we offered to help him leave this system to help him get back to his home world for his gratitude he then shared his technologies. The first part of the systems of his ship was the solar sailing, 2nd was the mode of transportation by sailing black holes and detecting them. These black holes are only able to be reached during light speed travels. These two upgrades on our ship will relieve lots of work that the engines are normally taking on. This addition to our already over powered engines will make our ship very energy efficient.

The journey to prince Theodore’s home world only took a few days, where giving us enough time to install the upgrades to tug boat our ship. Also lots of time to fill Theodore in on our own problems with dealing with the RMC and their bid in taking over the whole known space. Upon arrival to our destination Theodore hailed the planet and gave his identification. The communication sounded surprised and welcomed the long lost prince back to his world. The world its self was a complete ice ball with lots of treacherous terrains. Their people should be safe there because at first glance no living creature would want to choose to live there. Crowds of skeletons was out to welcome the long lost prince and invitations to a banquet in our honor. Thomas told us that the royal mechanics were going to restock our supplies and complete all repairs to our ship while we stay and enjoy all his people could offer. The only problem with that was the world was an ice chunk inhabited by undead. There cant be too much to eat here. Being around a world of undead was a little unnerving, it reminded me of horror movies I watched in my youth. Samples of rock and lots of dirt was taken during our duration along with flora of very few plants and fauna of some snow rabbits with no natural enemy should flourish upon our ship.

The banquet was very fancy our crew was issued very fine noble clothes and some winter clothes for our time on this planet. Our crew and I was introduced to the king who is Theodore’s brother who took over the rule of the planet until their father returned from searching for Theodore about 60 years ago. When communications between the planet and Theodore’s ship was lost some time after that the king took off in his own ship to search for his son. Meetings between the king and our team was good, he seem very sun sear about getting his older brother back from the depths of space. The prince then told us about the empire has been getting closer to the undead kingdom. They have been building ships to deal with the empire armies that would attack them on site being that they are skeletons or become enslaved by the RMC for a sizeable un-resting workforce to add to their slave colonies. After the banquet we settled in for the night and the next day was to leave that next night when all the repairs was complete on Tug boat. The next day 7 hours before our departure prince Theodore came to us and asked if we would accompany him to an isolated sensor array that was couple hour drive from the city. Telling him that this was a strange request for a prince to go and do, I informed him this could be a trap. Theo then explained to me that in this society everyone has a job and pulls their own weight regardless of social standing. Our team assembled for an icy adventure through these frozen lands.

We were driven by a transport to a icy cave where the sensor are housed. After fixing the sensors we went out side to take the transport back to the city and it was gone. The prince could not believe that there was something wrong, he believe it was some kind of mix up. So we all came up with the plan to hike to the next sensor array disconnect something to temporary bring down the station so that the next team that arrives to fix it so we could get a rid back in secret. The direct path to the sensor array was to cross a snow plain that was wide open and the territory of ice worms who hunt the area. The prince assured us that path would surely be suicide. The path through the frozen lake and mountains would give us enough cover to make it to the second station with no contact with the ice worms. Through this path we came across some kind of cold elemental that was the shape of a frost flake. Then before we arrived in the second station a deadly ambush by some winter wolves was nearly deadly for our good nurse Hojo. Knot to self that I need a medical bag to help my skills as a healer to aid my allies in combat when some one is about to die. The wolves pelts made very nice looking treasure. I believe that somewhere that these pelts are to be used in some cold residence magic items. After the mission was accomplished on disconnecting some device so that a new engineering team would come. Everything went as planed even the secret return with the second repair team. It was when we entered the palace to talk to the king about this mix up. When the king’s adviser met our team at the entrance with a team of 4 armed guards is when the plan went sour. When they came to arrest us, so I killed the adviser and a couple of the guards. The team dispatched the reast in very professional form.

Theo met with his younger brother the king smoothed the whole ordeal over. Got the whole story strait with his brother for the first time. The king rewarded the red rouges a engineering robot that hovers to assist Theo do his engineering duites. He insists that he will pull his own weight. I believe that with not really sleeping Theo will be learning a lot about our technology and ways to improve it coming from a third party un bias engineer. It can be assumed that relations with this world is on its highest level. Lord Theodore Abercrombie Fitch the 6th prince of the Eleti skeleton people, who could have stayed and became KING has joined the Red Rouges. The prince has joined our travels to hopefully find leads to the location of his father. Their race has offspring by enchanting a bone from their body and putting with a complete skeleton. The ship is in tip top shape and well stocked and equipped for this short journey home. Theo’s skills are of engineer and sorcerer though two classes will be a great help. Tug boat now with these solar sails and over powered engines will have to develop some kind of garbling device for raiding. With tug boats design we can hall thing also that we find like ships etcetera. I am going to put Theo and Bob in charge of come how use tune our engines to work with the sails to the most efficacy.

I will have to check with the two engineers to see if they have any field in ship weapons to try to arm this transport just incase we run into anything. I am starting to think that we could outrun anything we come up against. Before we leaf we told the king that the RMC may have followed us here and that is the main enemy that drive also of the evil that goes on in the dragon empire.

The swamp room has been down graded to have less water and just plants and animals that need warm climates

The cold room for the rocks, dirt, plants and rabbits should be easy to maintain
