LRC talk:Vaeriasa
Let me know when you're done and I'll take a close look at it. --Wizardoest 17:18, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Will do some fine tuning on skills. Doing a 180 from bloodline to rage feats. Would like to take Shared Fury from RoW though its specifically worded for animal companions. Would replace mad foam rager with it. Angry rabbit is really tempting (Monty Python). Oh, and lining her up for Eye of Gruumsh.
Class options I'd like to use: Stalwart sorceror for weapon focus, and Berserker Strength via brb/eog (which gives you rage if you don't already have it).
Familiars I'm looking at Goshawk, Rat, and Rabbit.
Take a while to find some new pics.
Still working on sa's and spells. --Arz 17:29, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- Where are the class options (Stalwart sorceror, Berserker Strength) from? What book is the Goshawk from? --Wizardoest 17:47, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- Stalwart sorceror (CM pg36), Berserker strength (PHB2 pg32), and Goshawk Alternate Familiars
Request List
- Shared FuryRotW: Approved for use with familiar.
- Goshawk: Approved, obviously.
- Eye of GruumshCW: Approved without change. Note that Swing Wildly ability will stack with Reckless Rage.
- Stalwart SorcerorCM: This is a powerful variant. It grants +2 hp per sorceror level, Martial weapon prof and Weapon Focus in a single weapon in trade for one less spell known at your highest level. I'll allow it with the caveat that I may alter it if balance issues arise.
- Beserker StrengthPH2: Approved, though it activates at 5 × effective barbarian level hit points.
- How do you see this interacting with Rage Mage? --Wizardoest 03:19, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- Stalward Sorcerer: This is very well balanced. Loss of spells known for a sorcerer is EXTREMELY costly. Consider that, when you acquire a new spell level, you only get 1 spell known until you advance yet another level... There's not much of a need to keep an eye on it. --Robhim 02:58, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Ver 2
- Still have image of one eyed furious fire breathing rabbit stuck in head.
- Eye of GruumshCW: Mostly head's up for 12th lvl. Yeah AC will be toilet water.
- Beserker StrengthPH2: As written this would be 1brb+2eog=3 effective lvls for 15 hp activation.
- If you want to add rage mage levels that would be gravy. Country gravy for getting to 11+ effective levels which qualifies for the first improvement. Comparing rage progression of brb and rm gives rage mage 2/3's the progression ratio over ten levels.
- I was just figuring it for there is angry and 'I'm taking you with me' angry.

Don't know if dragon totem quals for that 2nd lvl sorceror feat since it's more cultural than mystical. She still qualifies for that reason. Decided to roll that back because I wanted a more blended character. A little bit of Ist and Derianna not yet integrated. Will miss those skill points in gather info (brass dragon skill). Would have helped the group. Still got rabbit on brain. --Arz 15:57, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
DM Comments
- Orc shotput as listed in Arms and Equipment Guide only has a range of 10', you list 130'. Also, since it's essentially a giant ball of iron, does Vaeriasa only have one of them?
- Will change, that's a leftover from bow range. Yes, only one since I don't plan on using it a lot. Much like the bow it is replacing. --Arz 13:54, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Rage Mage and Barbarian stack for Beserker Strength, activating when she reaches 20hp.
- That'll be sweet. Not there yet but.... --Arz 13:54, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Wings of Swift Flying will not effect you while in Dragon form, per the spell. In Dragon form you are flying by natural wings, not by means of a spell.
Otherwise, everything looks fine. --Wizardoest 16:51, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- AFB, but I'm pretty sure it lists polymorphing into forms with flying as valid. Otherwise its back to my old standard, Jump.
Greater Mighty Wallop
Target: One bludgeoning melee weapon
The Orc Shotput is a ranged weapon in A&E. --Randy (Talk) 22:00, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
