Brilla: Brilla upgraded her chainshirt from +1 to +2 and put 5,000GP to help give some grants to entice people to do research into the +5 vorpal scimitar she foun and how to revert it to its previous form.
Arriving on Solipsism
Brilla: It appears that Solipsism has not done well in the wake of our last visit. It appears as if some force has come in and taken to a healthy bit of lumbering. What is amazing is that this is even noticeable with the strength of the Wilding to rebuild these trees quickly.
Fuelwen: Solipsism was once a haven for wits and scholars, but today, it's a barren wasteland. I expected to see wanton destruction after we left Uriah and his host here, but that it remains such…
Fire Giants
Brilla: After some travel into the island we saw a huge nightmare in the distance. We believed this to be Uriah's old mount and decided to stay clear.
We ventured a little further in to reach the keep when we were ambushed by flaming rocks. They were capable of heavy damage, as I can attest, and we quickly scrambled for cover. Multiple fire giants were responsible for throwing the boulders and their leader was riding the nightmare we earlier encountered. It was at this point we decided to run.
Jayde was able to slow them down with a spell of entanglement while Bo somehow convinced the nightmare to go back to its home plane. Bo's escape to the ethereal plane kept him safe as the rest of us dashed to the temple.
Fuelwen: Is easily explained, once the Fire Giants started hurling boulders at us. It was a clear ambush, and they had the advantage in terrain and strength. I quickly ascertained that this fight would be difficult, if not impossible, to win. I called the retreat. To cover the rest of the party's escape, I lingered behind, attempting to draw fire from the giants by annoying them with spells like Ray of Frost. Once the party had gained some distance, I used Expeditious Retreat to catch up.
Splat: I make good bait. I tricked the bad guys into following me, after setting some bits of forest on fire, anyway. I went back to the boat, but now I'm on a stinky old boat with nothing to do. BOOORING. BORED BORED BORED BORED.
Traveling by Dreams
Brilla: The keeps rose bush has gotten very large while Bo was away. It also seems to have gotten a taste for blood as Click Tick kept getting pricked by it. The plant wasn't all bad, though, as after some quick gardening and care it let us through into the keep.
The keep looks long abandoned and untouched; a good sign with the thumping of the giants not far from us. TicTok seemed pretty interested in the mimic. Once finding out we left it behind, he soon began pestering Fuelwen on the weakness he must have not to best a chest. Needless to say, Jayde and I left them behind to thump their chest or whatever else guys do to prove how strong they are.
Soon in the dream plane I found out what this was. Evidently they glued themselves to the beast, though on the bright side the mimic was defeated. I felt a little bad for it and really wanted it as a pet/protector on the ship. Unfortunately, I was unable to bend it to my will. We left it here for now with some food. I'm going to try to get it again on a return trip. I need to keep the boys out of the booze somehow.
Fuelwen: The last time we visited, we left the mimic untouched. But this time, I realized that they usually do have a good amount of treasure concealed in them- usually by the creatures that fall prey to it. At Tsk'Tsk's behest, I slew the beast- mostly. Some ministrations brought it back to life, and Brilla has set on the task of training it to heel.
Splat: BORED BORED BORED BORED.
The Giant Island
Brilla: Upon our jump onto the super island we encountered a VERY large scorpion. I was able to convince it that we weren't threatening enough to use its stinger, but even then was a ferocious beast. It easily clawed through our defenses and was only with a little luck that we were able to best the creature.
Once defeated and the wounded we tended to, we made our way further into the island.
Fuelwen: Tsk'Tsk probably should not take the lead any longer. He arrived at the giant island first, and angered a gigantic scorpion. We killed it, and continued inland.
Fuelwen: Deenar smells funny. I'm still bored.
Home Base
Brilla: While going through the island we noticed the fact that there are a lot of pure bred creatures around. This included to be the case of a local village. The native humans, elves, and halflings all appeared to be pure blooded.
Seeing as how they might not be used to beings with monsterous appearance, I decided to study their culture for a bit and give myself the bearing of one with power in their society. It worked pretty well and I was sent to see their elder. The condition was that I abandon all possessions and done their clothing, which I do.
Things go well and I eventually invite the others forward. Most of the village is taken aback, but there are no hostilities.
A few questions are asked before I am suggested that I speak with the grand elder; an elf of great age. Perhaps now we can finally get some answers.
Splat: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDD. Also, I saw a fish. It looked like me! With tentacles. And not glowy. It wouldn't play with me.

Ship's Orders
In case the ship is gone for long periods of time (as it often is), there are orders left for Deenar to carry out. They follow as below.
Brilla: Sometimes our travels take us out of our way. These are the ships standing orders so that take over when the officers are away for extended periods of time. The chain of command stands as it is listed and the current acting captain is to carry these orders to the best of their ability.
If the away team, currently consisting of Brilla, Fuelwen, Bo, and Tsk'Tsk, are away for more than two weeks time without communication with the ship, the ship is to continue business with the local islands, attempting to return to port every 2 to 3 weeks.
After two months, the ship is to continue business in an extended circle around the island where we were missing. There should be returns to the island every two months at this point.
After six months, the ship is expected to conduct the most profitable business that it can. It is requested that the ship visits the inn run by Pinky One-horn every 6-8 months in case we do return. Communication with the inn can also be met with the mirror on the ship. Do be sure to check with the inn here and there to see if word was had by us.
Thank you for your compliance with this and I wish great profit and happiness in our absence.
