Feat. Requires Eschew Materials, Knowledge (Arcana) 8 ranks.
Benefit: Do not need costly material components up to XX value in GP or YY in XP.
Recommended values: 100 GP, 50 XP.
Even Greater Eschew: 1000, 500... etc?
Variation: Require costly material available, but allow a spellcraft check DC QQ to make it act as a focus instead of being consumed.
Feedback, please? Has anyone seen this printed elsewhere?

I don't believe that XP should be Eschewed. How would eschewing GP interact with expensive foci? Would expensive material components be partially reduced, e.g. paying on 400gp for Stoneskin? --Randy (Talk) 18:24, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
