Basilisk is attacking our neighborhood
📚 Annalana: Annalana rushes to into the street, declaring that according to /Daregem Giantshoulder vs the Village of Humshire/, all animals, even monsters, are not permitted to run wild in the streets. This creature must be put down.
As we are fighting the black basilisk, guards are being turned to stone. Then, out of nowhere, comes a red basilisk that lights a small child on fire. Elis is torn on who to help but ultimately decides to aid the child, putting out the fires.
The professor of economics who lives next door comes out to investigate the commotion. Annalana knocks the books out of his hand and says “Go inside!”, as she attacks. He does, but then he comes back out with a staff sling and gets lit on fire, screaming.
Annalana is knocked unconscious during the battle. When she comes to, Qistis is using her ritual magic to put on buildings that are on fire. While everyone else is going home to relax, Annalana tracks the Black Basilisk back to its origin.
She finds an abandoned cart that the basilisk came from. Lying in the cart is a GGW journal with lots of lauding the GGW. Annalana tries to follow the trail for the other, red basilisk, but the trail has gone cold.
Knock on the door
📚 Annalana: Elis answers the door, and the watch tries to arrest us for the assassination attempt on us. Annalana sneaks outside and finds 10 guards. She does the signal whistle for the amount of soldiers but no one remembers them.
Elis and Kaelon submit to the arrest. Annalana is discovered and she BOLTS, barely escaping. Qistis and Eliviro disguise themselves as servants and are dismissed.
Running
📚 Annalana: Annalana realizes that she has only her dagger and that come morning she has no idea what is going to happen. She starts to panhandle when someone attempts to mug her, and she attacks them, mugging them instead. She leaves him in an alleyway and sends for help that never comes.
Covered with blood, Annalana finds a clothing shop and forcefully breaks in. While stealing clothes she gets into a fight with the owner while the wife screams for help.
Fortunately down the street was Qistis, searching for Annalana. Qistis gives the run whistle and Annalana bolts, with both of them meeting up in an alley later. Annalana is unhappy that the clothes are colorful robes that her students wear.
Editing Annalana’s Journal
📚 Annalana: On the way to meet up with Annalana, Qistis edits Annalana’s journal so that she thinks that her and Qistis had relations. Annalana spends the morning reflecting on what this means for her.
Prison Break
📚 Annalana: Elis and Kaelon manage to escape from prison via the sewers. This is of course, right as Annalana and Qistis show up with paperwork that allows them to be absolved of the crimes.
