Becca is staying with her Meemaw when she gets a call from Stan Corso, of the zine Anything Ghost, asking her to look into the mysterious death at a local club the Sticky Buffalo. This leads her to Agony General Hospital on the north side with Brick while James investigates the club. The investigation turns up very little until a stoner clerk turns Brick on to a video he posted to Facemart, showing cheerleaders exercising more control over boys than usual. With some research, it is discovered that a recently released, limited edition album by international pop sensation Quat Star is somehow granted owners powers of domination. Then clean house arrives at the Epsilon Alpha house, the sorority throws a car wash, and what's-her-name tackles Shaniqua, the one behind all of the trouble. One soap sud-ridden fight later it's over.
