Bombastic Giff

Fuelwen-icon.gif Fuelwen: A distantly familiar voice blasted out across the deck of the ship. We were rescued, not only by revolutionaries bent on invading Fan, but by revolutionaries that consorted with that explosion-favoring Giff that "helped" us defend the ironically named Great Fortress.

Which nearly blew our cover- we were not supposed to be aboard, and should the revolutionaries discover us, we would be pressed into service. As one might imagine, "blending in" was a sizable challenge, although the quinquireme was gigantic- there was plenty of space to hide.

It was the Shark that really blew our cover. As normal, he got hungry. And this time, he decided the crew looked delicious. The crew protested, tracked me down. We were near shore anyway, so I went overboard of my own will. It's not a fight worth having.

Splat.gif Splat: Okay, so, the fat guy? He's the first person to truly understand me. I totally wanna wand of wandiness that makes things explode, like his. AWESOME.

Pirate.gif Brilla: I knew this ship was in a sour state the moment I saw that fire-happy giff on board. I made idle chit-chat with him, but quickly tried to part ways before somehow bursting into flames. Honestly, who would let someone capable of producing so much fire on a ship?

I know we were supposed to lay low, but I had two things that just kept bugging me. One was the poor state in which the ship was working. The second was the emanate attack on Fan. I figured I could kill two birds with one stone by not only telling the giants everything they were doing wrong but also drive them toward where Takeshi dwelled. Either he would sink the ship or we would at least be left off somewhere close to meet with him and give him his time elemental.

I met with a marginal success. They took all of my information to use but also threw me in the brig as a possible spy. This is no real skin off my back as I'm pretty sure I can escape if need be. The great thing about ballista is they often lack the ability to shoot straight up into the air.

Yeah, the harbor was a trap

Fuelwen-icon.gif Fuelwen: Takeshi found me, I alerted him to the incoming revolutionaries, and he mostly dispatched them. The Shark and I flitted about enjoying those that fell overboard- although the Shark, with his mystic powers, was always just enough ahead of me that I could never truly fulfill my blood frenzy.

Pirate.gif Brilla: Sinking the ship it is! With a few swings I was able to break down the bars to my cell and I carried Callow and Ko to the safety of the shore. I bit of an exhausting task as although I wasn't really carrying them, I can still feel their weight on the flight.

Takeshi later told us that he would meet with us at our ship. Nothing for us to do now but wait.

Takeshi's herald is a douche

Fuelwen-icon.gif Fuelwen: Our objective completed, Takeshi's herald arrived to take possession of the Time Elemental, and tell us that the islands would be frozen for about n weeks. He also offered a riddle- if we could guess what question we should ask, he would tell us the answer. I was tempted to mechanistically narrow down the probabilities, but time was short, and the party was impatient. We surrendered the question and sent the herald home.

Drn Tg

Fuelwen-icon.gif Fuelwen: We resupplied on DrnTg, only to find that the island was in chaos. The gnomish invasion had collapsed the government. Shockingly, Brilla's Mystical College still survived.

I managed to purchase a potion of Wisdom- for an emergency.

Attacking Daudir—PSYCH!

Fuelwen-icon.gif Fuelwen: Our next objective was to kill Duadir. We sailed to his island to check the lay of the land, and discovered that his time here had been well spent- a gigantic fortress had been constructed, labyrinthine on the inside, and protected by the Draconic dwarves that constituted his get/harem/associates.

We need siege equipment. Given that our time is short, we must return after completing the Celestine ritual.

Sail to Moonless in search of Celestians

Fuelwen-icon.gif Fuelwen: We went directly to Moonless, and sought out The Lord. If anyone knew how to find the Celestines, he would be the right choice…
