Stats: As you level, your physical abilities increase as your feral spirit grows in power. You gain the listed bonus to your strength, constitution, and dexterity. This ability effects your normal form as well as any form gained through the wild shape ability.

Natural Armor: Your natural armor increases according to your level given in the chart above. This ability effects your normal form as well as any form gained through the wild shape ability.

Alertness: Your feral spirit increases your senses, granting you the alertness feat.

Feral Empathy: Filled with the raw power of his feral spirit, a druid bonds with wild animals instinctively, gaining a +4 bonus on wild empathy checks and Handle Animal checks (see page 35 of the Player’s Handbook for a full description of the druid’s wild empathy ability).

Mark of the Beast: Your feral spirit adapts to a more specific form. When you gain this ability choose an form from below.

  • Adaptive: You gain the Endurance feat and are under a constant endure elements effect. Additionally, you can hold your breath ten times longer than one of your race normally can.
  • Bite: You gain a bite attack that deals 1d6 damage if you are a medium size creature. You cannot attack more than once per round with her bite, even if her base attack bonus is high enough to give her multiple attacks. You can use your bite as a secondary attack (taking a –5 penalty on her attack roll) while wielding a weapon. When wild shaped, you instead gain the improved natural attack feat for your bite.
  • Claws: You gain a pair of claws that deal 1d4 damage if you are a medium size creature. You can attack with one claw as a standard action or with two claws as a full attack action (as a primary natural weapon). You can not attack more than once per round with a single claw, even if your base attack bonus is high enough to give you multiple attacks. You can attack with a claw as a light off-hand weapon while wielding a weapon in your primary hand, but all your attacks in that round take a –2 penalty. When wild shaped, you instead gain the improved natural attack feat for your claws.
  • Hunter: You gain the track feat. You also gain a bonus to your survival skill equal to half your level for the purpose of of tracking only.
  • Stalker: For every 3 levels you have you gain a +1 bonus to your hide and move silently skills. The penalties from moving that are applied to hide and move silently are halved.
  • Mobility: Your base land speed increases by 10'. When wild shaped, all of your available movement speeds are increased by 10'.

Scent: You gain the scent ability. You maintain the scent ability when wild shaped only if the form you change into has the scent ability as well.

Empowered Summoning: When you summon nature's ally your summoned creature gains the same bonuses you do to your stats and natural armor.

Spirit Guardian: The presence of your feral spirit allows a druid to prepare one extra druid spell of 3rd level or lower to be cast on yourself (which must have a range of touch or personal). The spell is prepared normally and treated as if cast by the druid for all purposes (caster level, save DC, and so forth), but is cast by the feral spirit with a moment’s thought on the part of the druid (a swift action). The druid cannot lose a spell prepared in this manner in order to use his spontaneous casting ability. Starting at 15th level, the druid can prepare and cast a spell of up to 6th level using this ability.

Rapid Summons: The presence of your feral spirit enhances the druid’s connection to the otherworldly animals and natural creatures that you can summon using the summon nature’s ally spell. From 12th level on you casts any summon nature’s ally spell as a standard action instead of a full-round action. If you already cast as a standard action it is now a move action. If it is already a move action, it is now a swift action.

Unleash Spirit: Once you reach 18th level you are able to unleash your feral spirit to devastating effect. If you are not wild shaped you may apply any metamagic feat you know to one of your spells without increasing the spell level. If you are wild shaped you gain all of the special qualities and special attacks of the creature that you are wild shaped as. This ability last for a number of rounds equal to your wisdom modifier and can be done once per day.
