{{Nict}}: Malyth's leaving is... surprising to me. As well as his attack on Dario. I went to speak with Malyth and found a vial of poison and a promise to see us again. I don't know what to think of that. He was certainly a loner, but this betrayal is beyond my understanding. I hope our paths won't cross again because I am sure we will be enemies then... | |||

Snow?! We were out for seven weeks
Dario: As the fog of dreams recede I am overjoyed to have pulled off what the douche knights said was impossible. Snow falls outside the window as I wrap myself in a blanket and charge out of the door proclaiming victory!
Thaddeus: Weird. Those guys were out for like six weeks or something after I woke up. But they said they were only in there a few minutes longer than I was. I don't get it.
News from the front
Dario: Eventually we make our way to the courtyard, where a very grim General Gallar Iberhaien is making a tense proclamation. Apparently our forces in the frost circle are having a rough go of things and he will be leaded a convoy there in two weeks.
We arrange a meeting with the Far Wanderer who deceives us about knowing that we were awake. I do not pry and surprisingly neither do my companions.
Sala is recovered, we talk with her briefly
Dario: Tarralon tells the tale of Pendarguin, battle with the necromancer Kaylan, and the loss of Brody. She is a strong woman and we leave her to her grief.
Nict: Tarralon tells Sala about Brody even after Dario & I discuss saving it for later. She is understandably unable to keep talking with us. I call him a fool which seems to offend him, & he proceeds to lecture me on how important it is to be upfront. I hold my tongue as it will do no good to argue and don't remind him that he cost us days of her getting over her grief enough to speak with us before we can question her about the soulstones. He seems to think I wished to spare her in some way. Interesting, that hadn't even really occurred to me. We are dealing with undeads roaming the world. We all have our worries and grief.
Dario's dating distraction
Dario: Having agreed to give Sala a few days without bother, I spend my time with Isade. She giggles and laughs and we have a wonderful time with each other. She is shy and I am understanding. I will be sad to leave her when we go.
Thaddeus: Oops, I guess the picnic was supposed to be some sort of a date. I'm not used to this subtle way of courtship.
Malyth goes darkside
Dario: We talk with Sala on a wide range of topics and she fills us in more completely about soulstones. As she talks about the Prophecies of Man, Malyth inquires as to their value and drags me out into the hallway, demanding the key that unlocks the tomb that holds the tome. I decline and he levels a veiled threat on my life.
No one threatens Dario Fedele Nardozzi (except for momma Nardozzi).
I put him against the wall intent on making sure that he understood that and electricity courses through my body. Burnt and pissed I manage to remember that I am a guest in the Rock. I open the door to my companions and reveal Malyth for what he is and walk away.
Later I am told that Malyth left a vial of poison and a note and has departed. I am glad to see him go. I look forward to meeting him in battle.
Thaddeus: Sala had some really interesting things to say about soul stones, dream dust, and darroot. We gotta go check out that swamp, as soon as we can.
Also, it turns out that Malyth is a piece of shit. Attacking Dario? Over a damn book? Greedy sonofa... If I see him again, he will answer for his back stabbing.
Nict: Malyth's leaving is... surprising to me. As well as his attack on Dario. I went to speak with Malyth and found a vial of poison and a promise to see us again.
