Yay Aquatic Kobold. At least I won't be the only water-dweller. - T3knomanser 13:58, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Note that I can only swim really well. I still can't breathe it worth a damn. --Askewnotion 16:35, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Well, if we throw you in with armor, you'll have a chance to learn. --T3knomanser 16:36, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Sadly, I'd actually be able to swim in leather. Gotta love small size bit's of equipment. I'm probably going to steal Burrow as one of my friends on the personality profile so that our characters have some sort of connection once I get to finishing up the island and person background. I wonder if anyone has caught the joke in my character yet... --Askewnotion 16:44, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Durka durka muhammed jihad? That's probably a good idea though, with Burrow. Our last party didn't gel very well, and I designed my character as kinda a team player. Sort of. He's a pack hunter, and if you're part of his pack, he'll be totally loyal. If you look weak, like prey... he'll probably eat you. --T3knomanser 16:46, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm actually removing Aquatic. I just realized that you can't breathe outside of water. Switching to desert kobald. It makes my favored class rogue instead of sorcerer as well. Makes the joke more funny as well. --Askewnotion 16:52, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, it does. You could talk to Daryl about getting "Amphibian", which my character has. Sahuagin normally can stay out of water 1hr/2 points of CON, I don't know about Aquatic Kobolds. --T3knomanser 16:56, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Normally it is 2 rounds per point of Con. In my mind not worth it in the least. I can't take the Dex hit to being with. Aa' durka durka durka! That, and I get rid of the stupid light sensativity! --Askewnotion 17:00, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- This would be easier if you had AIM... --Askewnotion 17:01, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Perils of being at work. But I do have it on my phone (not logged in at the moment). Should change that. My AIM ID is the same as my username here (and everywhere else on Earth) --T3knomanser 17:02, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

Since you were thinking Durka may know Burrow, do you want to say that we both were on Burrow's ship, and that's how we ended up in Dalt-land? That establishes the two of us knowing each other, in the same place at the same time. Probably hanging out on the island while waiting for Burrow to take on supplies before going off to the next port. Yesnomaybe? --T3knomanser 01:29, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, strike that. I don't see why an aquatic character would be riding in a boat. I'm going to buy him a carriage (dragged by giant sea horses) --T3knomanser 01:45, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- Well, you could have always done merc guarding work on the sea front while I did my business on the deck. We can assume that Burrow is from the same island that I am from to create some continuity as well with PCs and NPCs. Also, should be pulled by sharks instead of sea horses. --Askewnotion 02:04, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, as I think about it, one wouldn't want to travel long distances alone. Even without having to contend with the weather, traveling several weeks alone would be foolhardy. So, I'll be on Burrow's ship as a passenger. --T3knomanser 02:46, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- Also, Burrow is almost certainly a pseudonym for something long and Draconic.

Considering the fact that you can be size tiny if it suits you, and the fact that I've got a +4 composite bow, I think Fuelwen needs to use you as ammo at some point. Just stand very straight. --t3knomanser 15:52, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Does Darkvision see you?
Your shadow ability allows you to gain concealment when in nonDaylight areas, but since that is based on shadow would Durka have concealment from opponents with darkvision? I'm curious if I could've seen you, since Mr. Winter has darkvision. --Randy (Talk) 15:01, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
- I would say not, since it is an ability granted by darkness, not acutally caused by darkness. It is aiken to elemental plane of shadow, not normal shadow. Otherwise, a simple torch would be able to dispel the effect. Also, most effects that can be seen by darkvision are said as much. --Askewnotion 17:47, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Shadow Blend
Shadow Blend (Su): In any conditions other than full daylight, a shadow creature can disappear into the shadows, giving it total concealment. Artificial illumination, even a light or continual flame spell, does not negate this ability, but a daylight spell will.
Being a supernatural ability this requires a standard action to activate. Since there is no listed duration, I assume that once concealed Durka would remain concealed until he choose to reveal himself or until he was exposed to daylight. Meaning that your first round of combat would likely be to conceal yourself. --Randy (Talk) 18:05, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
