Scene of the Transformation

🎲 DM: Chaos reigns and no one knows what is going on save one thing—police sirens are getting louder. Gerhardt slings Big B over his shoulder while Vic and Mindy grab the briefcases from the exchange. Mackie has his boys create distractions so that they can get away clean. (Mackie spent 1 heat in the process of getting away.)

Infighting at the Warehouse

🎲 DM: Once in an abandoned warehouse and safe from the police Mackie starts to freak out. He yells at Gerhardt about turning into a fucking werewolf and is irate with Big B about being a cop. He scoops up the briefcase with the assumed fissile material and points a gun at it, threatening everyone "if we don't sort this shit out quick". After a long, tense moment Big B is able to talk Mackie down from Defcon 1.

Mindy is on the edge of all this and is barely stopping herself from freaking out. Then suddenly the lights go out and the only building, the only thing, that has power in all of downtown Detroit is a single skyscraper.

Vic smashes open one of the briefcases to find it full of a large sum of money. The other case is lockpicked open and inside is discovered an object that is assumed to be a nuke, along with an envelope. Inside the envelope are two notes, one in Russian and another in morse code.

Russian note, "This is one of the cannisters that you'll use to power the transmitter. Transmit the enclosed message"

The note in morse code was a message from Russian leaders to "alien powers" referring to Russia as the strongest nation on Earth and that it with them that the alien powers should set up relations.

Hide the Nuke at Momma's House

🎲 DM: Everyone agreed that taking the alien thing that was found in the briefcase with them to storm the skyscraper was a Bad Idea®. Mackie's Momma had a bomb shelter with a safe room that he often used to store illegal gang items. (Mackie spent a Fate point to create a story detail.)

While there his Momma insisted that Big B each something, so she whipped up a quick and hearty Italian meal for everyone.

The Band gets Saturday Night Fever

🎲 DM: Mackie's Momma lives in a building that was close to several shops and in one such shop Vic noticed some people he recognized. But it couldn't be them—his bandmates—because they were playing disco. With a chip on his shoulder and fire in his eyes Vic settled things the best way he knows how.

After the fight was over everyone was tossed out onto the street. Vic, still pissed, sneaks to the band's van and using his key, takes off with it.
