Revision as of 07:53, 5 January 2010

I built it a tiny bit under powered for room to move it up. Remy's requests:

  • Up fly.
  • Up aura of menace DC (I plan to give ability focus feat, though archons get a +2 racial bonus to that save over normal).
  • Blindsense?
  • Aid 1/day?

The aura of menace will be a big problem for the whole party, as it's all hostile creatures in a 20' radius of the archon. Will even effect the undead in the party. --Randy (Talk) 02:38, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

I took that to mean hostile to the source, but you're right- it would apply to all creatures with an attitude of hostile. It does only have a 20' range, which should be easy to avoid. --t3knomanser 04:33, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
Plus with the ability to fly and the sphere shape, it's effect on the battle field can be made into 15', 10', or 5' depending on how high up Splat is. --Randy (Talk) 12:34, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
I appreciate your attempting to nerf the ability, but it's only the foes. "Hostile" is a specific term in D&D (see diplomacy). Combine this with the previous sentence ("A righteous aura surrounds archons that fight or get angry..."). It's pretty clear that the aura only affects foes. --Mqs 13:48, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
Gotcha. --Randy (Talk) 14:11, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
Wouldn't the party have an attitude of hostile during combat? Not that I'm trying to disagree with you or anything. --14:53, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
