How is the Charisma 6? --Randy (Talk) 16:49, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

That's a very good question. --Mqs 17:24, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Someone wasn't thinking when playing with the point-buy calculator. BTW- the linked one in the wiki still doesn't work at all in FF3.5 on Mac for me. --t3knomanser 17:43, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Point buy calculator not working in FF3.5 on Mac is a known issue. --Randy (Talk) 17:58, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
I've been working on the new d20 site and posted a new Point Buy Calculator. The link in the nav has also been changed. --Randy (Talk) 18:09, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Um, that calculator does buy downs from 8. Who uses those? --Mqs 18:27, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
No one that I know. I'll likely disable that at some point in the future. --Randy (Talk) 18:38, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Lowest selectable value is 8. --Randy (Talk) 20:24, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

Skill points

You are still restricted to spending a max of 11 skill ranks in a skill. You sadly can't have 22 ranks in initiative. --Askewnotion 18:45, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

Unless you buy Improved Initiative feat. --Mqs 20:10, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
As-written on the Rules/Skills page, the limit for 'ranks' is the 11, but the 22 points are still allowed to be spent there. --Mqs 20:18, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
How odd. I never noticed that before. Just weird that it breaks the mold. --Askewnotion 21:00, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
It's not that it breaks the mold, exactly. It's that one rank costs twice as many skill points. It's like a mix between Speak Language and a normal skill. --t3knomanser 21:07, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Human Fighter with 8 int only gets 2 skill points per level, however. (2-1)*4 + 4 + 7(2-1) = 22 skill points total. You have 33 used points listed. --Mqs 20:22, 12 January 2010
Two points per level for 14 points from 2-7. Plus 4 from human, plus 4 from class, at first level. Hunh. How did I get 33 out of that? Pish tosh. Oh, I know- when I bought skills, the INT was 10. Forgot to recalc. --t3knomanser 20:43, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
