LRC:Liberator Terrorist Attack

LR Herald Liberators Strike Again
There was an attempted assassination yesterday, targeted at J.J. Wyeth, during the dedication of his new water clock. The attackers have been identified as belonging to the terrorist group known as the Liberators.

The attack was believed to be instigated because of Wyeth's beliefs in a having the nobility rule Lone Rock, as opposed to having a house of commons. This, and the fact that he is known to associate with some of the most powerful magicians that are not related to the Harpell family also factored into this attack.

Though J.J. Wyeth was heavily wounded, his attackers were driven off and he was saved by people in the crowd. Rumor has it, though, that they were actually elite members of the watch. Upon contacting those in charge of the watch, these details are neither being confirmed or denied.

Although it was a failed assassination, the square took a lot of damage. A magical wall of fire ruined 4 buildings and damaged 7 others. There were also numerous injured involved in the assassination attempt.

Currently there are 3 assailants in custody. Their names have not yet been released, though it is affirmed that they are being questioned.
