As everyone else leaves the room Queen Becky rises from the throne and walks over to Wolfdale. "The message that you brought me was, like, totally wicked. It's a field report from David. Here, you can like totally read it."

"My Queen, we have engaged the enemy on the ice flow of the river Styx, in one of the nine layers of hell. We engaged Levistus directly and briefly, where he turned the power of the unknown ring on Harlann. Before we were able to fully withdraw Harlann was captured. Hopefully the bearer of this message bears a rescued Harlann as well.

We have discussed strategies with the Iron Men present and it was decided, unanimously, that we should press the attack while we have the advantage. We believe in victory but find it unlikely that many of us will survive.

Knowing that the oath of the city is going to be vitally important in the upcoming days I tender my resignation as Lord General so that another may serve the city during this time.
